Hi! My name is Rebecca Scharpf, and I’m very pleased to get to meet you and hear your stories! I struggled heavily with depression when I was young and am dealing with anxiety and perfectionism now. As you can imagine, I spent tons of time poring over any resources that could better help me understand, manage, and overcome these barriers, and as I did, I became more and more intrigued with the idea of wholeness, specifically tending the places inside of us. I hope you’re as excited as I am to start this journey, and I invite you to share your unique insights so we can learn from each other as we journey inward together!

About This Site: Discovering Wholeness is dedicated to the importance of wholeness (understanding and tending to the different realms that make up who we are: mental, emotional, creative, and physical). Learn ways to overcome obstacles to inner wellness (anxiety, depression, low self-esteem), how to maintain a healthy sense of wholeness by retraining your thoughts, and expand your knowledge of the different realms with exercises, podcasts, and videos in addition to the blog posts. Along the way, see how the different realms interplay and affect each other (exercise can decrease depression, just as depression can decrease exercise) and how to honor and integrate them into a healthy, whole sense of well-being.
